Needs according to the time of fulfillment, can be divided into the needs of current and future needs.
1) Needs Now
The need now is to be passed today. For example, eating when hungry, drinking when thirsty, and medicine in times of illness.

2) Future Needs
Future needs are needs that fulfillment can be delayed in the coming period. For example, old-age insurance and medical insurance.

Grouping needs according to its form based on the impact caused by the material needs (objects) and psychological needs.

1) Material Requirements
Material needs is the need of goods that can be touched and seen. For example, books, bicycles, radios, food, drinks, cars, cell phones, and a place to stay.

2) Psychological Needs
Psychological needs are needs that can not be touched and can not be seen by the naked eye. For example recreation, prayer, and friends.

Needs by subject differentiated according to the parties that need, namely the need of individual and group needs.

1) Individual Needs
Individual needs is a requirement that can be viewed in terms of people in need. For example, a farmer needs is different from the needs of a teacher, and a man needs a different life to the living needs of women.


2) Needs Group
Group needs is a means of satisfying the needs that are used together (group). For example, public phones, public roads, public toilets, and feel safe and comfortable in the life of the state.

The need is a basic human requirements. Human needs can not be separated from the desire to fulfillment. Excessive craving will complicate the process of fulfillment. That is why in every religion taught to give thanks to God Almighty. Resources contained in the earth many and plentiful, with a grateful man will learn how to use resources wisely and well. Thus not damaging the environment and the earth remain stable.

Factors that Influence Needs

In fact, the needs of each individual or group of diverse communities. This is due, among other factors as follows.

a. Natural circumstances or surroundings

The need for clothing for individuals or communities who live in the polar regions is different from the people who live in the tropics. So also for people living in mountainous areas will vary with the needs of people living in coastal areas. This fact shows the state of nature or the environment affect the formation of the needs of people who occupy it.

b. Education

Individual needs are educated in universities with an individual who was educated at the level of high school will be different. Therefore, the education level of individuals or the community will determine the needs of what is needed in the community.

c. Religion 

The religious life of a person or group of people also could lead to the diverse needs depend on religion and its appreciation against religion.

d. Customs

Customs or traditions of society also affects the formation of community needs. For example, the tradition of marriage ceremonies and traditions of homecoming feast.

e. Civilization

The degree of civilization of a society will also affect the formation needs. Heightened civilization, the higher the quality of the goods required. Will you observe the needs of society in primitive times. Then, compare the condition of people who are familiar with higher civilization certainly needs to be very different between one and the other.

Needs in the primitive society if it were observed to be more emphasis on meeting basic needs in a simple accomplishment fulfilled. For food, for example, they just simply take from the forest or a residence.

Along with the progress and development of civilization, every list of needs will increase. Long ago have not thought of radio and mobile phones will be for goods that were important. However, now it seems life is incomplete without the presence of radio, cell phone, books, movies, and other needs her.
